Glitch always cried at weddings. Okay, so this wasn't an actual wedding, this was just the dinner reception after a renewal of vows, but it was symbolic of so much more. It stood for the renewal of the OZ. Renewal of peace, rebuilding of a better life for all of them. It was a celebration that had been a long time coming.
Glitch (he had his brain and his memories and Ambrose back now, but he still thought of himself as Glitch; it just felt like it fit) caught sight of DG making eyes at Cain's son and glanced over to see if Cain had noticed, but Cain was watching him instead, a secret smile lurking in his eyes. Glitch knew that look; it was the same Cain wore when he called Glitch "Convict", an affectionate inside joke.
"What?" Glitch asked.
Cain just shook his head with a grin. Glitch was tempted to kiss the answer out of him -- it was a tactic that worked surprisingly well -- but instead just reached for his hand under the table. This was still new, and while Glitch was all for public displays of affection, he didn't think Cain would appreciate it.
